The location was perfect, right by the riverwalk. we loved the rooftop bar and the easy access to sightseeing. The room was spacious, and neither the noise from the trains nor the busy lobby bothered us at all.

i had a lovely stay at renaissance! the king room on the 5th floor offered a beautiful view across the river with a comfy settee near the window. the indoor pool was delightful, with its glazed roof making it a lovely spot to swim. the location was unbeatable, right in the downtown loop.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with its beautiful interior and proximity to Grant Park, which is just a short walk away, and the stunning Chicago Theatre, located only a few steps from the hotel, making it easy for me to explore the vibrant city and its attractions.

It was a commendable fit for a holiday in Chicago at a reasonable price. The river view rooms were awesome for relaxing evenings. Opt for the early check-in if you can, they had our room ready well before noon.

During my stay, I was delighted by the hotel's closeness to Millennium Park, just a quick stroll away where I enjoyed beautiful views, and the fantastic Chicago Cultural Center, only a 10-minute walk, making it easy to explore city art and culture without any hassle. Taulant at the concierge even went above and beyond to help us with a last-minute wardrobe emergency, making us feel truly cared for during our visit.

During our two-night stay, we found ourselves just a short walk from stunning Grant Park and the scenic views from the Chicago Riverwalk, which made it easy to explore the city and enjoy an afternoon picnic by the lake. although we encountered a minor inconvenience with the coffee availability at the lounge, our overall experience was very much enjoyable and in line with my expectations of staying at a Marriott property.

after my last stay in chicago, this hotel was a pleasant surprise. i loved the spacious jr suite with great views of the river, providing a perfect spot to unwind. the location was fantastic for exploring the city and the staff were super friendly.

The location? Couldn't be better really, right at the corner with State Street, and just a short walk to N Michigan Avenue! Plus, the bed was comfy enough to sleep like a baby, looked forward to that every night.

The location near the riverwalk made sightseeing super convenient. My room, the King Room River View, was spacious and comfortable, with lovely decor that added to the experience. However, the restaurant service was frustratingly slow, and I noticed they were short-staffed during busy meal times. It felt like the staff was overwhelmed at times, especially when demand picked up. Despite that, the food I had was enjoyable. I also wish I had better communication regarding room amenities upon check-in. I found that I was not made aware of the free wi-fi in public areas and other features until later. Overall, a strong stay with some room for service improvements!
